Key Account Manager

Position Summary:
The Key Account Manager reports directly to the National Account Manager. Their primary responsibility is to educate healthcare professionals about disease states as well applicable Sentynl Therapeutics’ approved rare disease therapies while focusing on the execution of daily field activities in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet all territory objectives.
- Effectively route for efficiency and meet assigned call plan attainment metrics.
- Effectively provide disease education to applicable healthcare professionals and their staff in your territory.
- Develop targeted accounts and build specific business plans that reflect an in-depth understanding of local, regional, and national market forces impacting product access.
- Analyze territory business and develop actionable territory and account plans focused on gaining the access required to educate healthcare professionals and staff on rare disease stated and Sentynl Therapeutics’ approved products and services.
- Execute company product access/distribution plans to help ensure reliable product availability.
- Become an expert in assigned product, disease state, and market.
- Proactive and consistent awareness of local business dynamics that impact territory.
- Responsibly manage resources and budget.
- Represent Sentynl Therapeutics, Inc. professionally at all times.
- Use good judgment in all aspects of your job and conduct all business in a compliant manner.
- Understand and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a minimum of “Meet Expectations” for all administrative duties, business and territory analytics.
Qualifications:
- Proven Performer – 5 or more years successfully managing highly specialized pharmaceutical products in complex and challenging rare disease market(s). Key accounts experience preferred.
- Compliant – Always adheres to the highest ethical standards.
- Consistently Award Winning – Documented track record of consistently high national rankings, achieving goals, and executive level awards (President’s Club, Circle of Excellence, Top 10-20%, etc.).
- Rare Disease Experience – Significant rare disease knowledge, experience & relationships.
- Entrepreneurial – Able to thrive at a fast paced, performance driven, start-up environment.
- Product Distribution Expert – Experience with Specialty Pharmacy, HUB Services and/or other complex product distribution models.
- Self-Starter – Ability to perform with limited oversight and direction.

Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a field individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this job:
- Normal office conditions.
- Role will be covering large territory at start – will reduce in size as US team grows.
- Routine travel will be required between various locations in the US (as high as 70-80% travel).

Sentynl Therapeutics, Inc. offers a competitive salary program and an attractive benefits package that includes:
- The base salary for the Key Account Manager will be $150K to $180K.
